The Misgana Purse [Praise]
The Misgana Crossbody Purse is one of our brand new products that launched as part of the 2019 Fall Line! We are so excited to bring you a bag that works for all ages.

Just thinking about that is such a blessing and one of the main reasons I started Carry 117. Looking at Misgana and knowing that she has never known life without Carry 117 is such a testimony of what we are building here in Ethiopia. Misgana brings light and laughter into our compound on a daily basis. She loves running around the compound and gets excited about EVERYTHING! She also loves getting to ride with me in my car.”

When asked about having a bag named after her, Misgana said, “I get happy to come here because I have friends to play with here, and I get to play with toys. I also have a tutor who helps me. And this beautiful bag is named after me.”
The Misgana Purse is one of the two crossbody purses that Carry 117 offers, and it’s made out of premium Ethiopian leather. This is the smaller crossbody purse in our Fall line. The strap is adjustable. This purse is available in blush, tan, gray, and black color options. It’s lined with a neutral cotton liner with one inside pocket. The main compartment consists of a zipper to close the main compartment of the purse. The Carry 117 logo is on the inside liner of the bag, and the specific measurements are 8.5" (wide) x 7" (high) x 2" (deep).

It fits everything I need, the outside pocket is so convenient, and is small enough to fit inside my backpack when I don’t need it at the moment. Misgana’s name means PRAISE in Ethiopia. Carry 117 wouldn’t be the same without Misgana, and that is one of the reasons we named a bag after one of our youngest and smallest family members at Carry 117! She may be small, but she is mighty, just like this purse.
