Shime Duffle [He Shall Repel A Thousand Men]

The Shime Duffle is a multipurpose bag from our Fall 2018 Line. It can be used as a travel bag, stylish overnight bag, gym bag, or a work bag. It pairs so well with our Medi Bag for travel.

His full name is Shimelis. Shime had his own sewing business and chose to leave his own business and start working at Carry 117 because of our vision and purpose of orphan prevention, women empowerment, and family preservation. Shime has been making bags for over 15 years and his ability to create, teach, and sew is AMAZING. He was an answer to our prayers and wouldn’t have been even able to start Carry 117 without him. He is so passionate about teaching the women how to cut and sew at Carry 117 and we are SO THANKFUL for him. The Shime Duffle is made with premium quality leather and the unique traditional Ethiopian cotton handwoven fabric. It comes in gray, green, light gray, and blue or brown stripe Ethiopian cultural cotton fabric. There is a main compartment that closes with a zipper. The Carry 117 logo is stamped in the leather next to zipper on side of bag.
